Every route comes from the label's own site or official profile. Checked 19 Oct 2026. Spotted a change? Tell me.
Before you hit send
- Follow each label's rules. Defected deletes any submission that doesn't.
- Check that your link works. Defected's Andy Daniell gets a lot of dead or private links.
- Send four tracks at most, with a short paragraph about who you are and what you're sending, plus links to your socials.
- Don't expect a reply. Toolroom listens to everything but can't answer every submission.
Tips 2 and 3 are from Andy Daniell via EDM.com. If a label doesn't publish a demo route on its own site or official profile, I leave it out.
