Privacy
What this site collects and why. The short version: not much.
Who runs this site
Everything House is run by me, Raoul. If you have a question about your data, or want something deleted, email me at everythinghouse01@gmail.com.
The Weekly Dig
If you sign up, your email address is stored by Kit, the service I use to send the newsletter. I use it to send you the Dig and the odd email about the site, like your Send demos sheet. I never sell it or share it with anyone else.
Kit shows me whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so I can tell what's actually useful. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email me and I'll remove you myself.
Visitor stats
I count visits with GoatCounter. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store your IP address and doesn't build a profile of you. I only see totals: how many people visited a page, which site sent them, and their browser, screen size and country. It also counts clicks on links to other sites, like a pack's store page, so I know which picks people find useful.
Suggestions
The Suggest form is sent to my inbox by Web3Forms, which passes on and stores what you send: the link, why it's useful, and your name and email if you add them. I only use your email to reply about that suggestion. Ask and I'll delete it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site safe.
Stored in your browser
Your Watch later list, your currency choice and the latest exchange rates are saved in your own browser. They're never sent to me. To convert prices, your browser fetches exchange rates from a public rates service, and video thumbnails load from YouTube's image server.
Links to other sites
Some links are affiliate links. If you click one, that store may set its own cookies to credit the sale. That happens on their site, under their privacy policy. This site doesn't set any cookies of its own.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing me. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
